Urban ReLeaf is a Horizon Europe project co-funded by the European Union (“Urban ReLeaf Project”) and UKRI Innovate UK. The following Statement, comprising the Privacy Policy, Accessibility Policy, Cookies Policy, and Terms of Use, is an integral part of the Urban ReLeaf Project website (“Urban ReLeaf Website”) and its content available at www.urbanreleaf.eu. The Urban ReLeaf Website is hosted and managed by the University of Dundee (“UNIVDUN”) in the UK, serving as an associate partner of the Urban ReLeaf Project.
This Statement applies to all Users accessing and using the Urban ReLeaf Website.
Purpose The Urban ReLeaf Website aims to provide information about the Project’s activities and disseminate project results.
The Urban ReLeaf Website is created, maintained, and updated by the Urban ReLeaf Consortium, comprising project and associate project partners. All (“Material”) including images, data, information, logos, and videos (including without limitation copyright, registered and unregistered trademarks, branding and database rights) on the Urban ReLeaf Website are owned by the Urban ReLeaf Consortium or individual partners.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, the Urban ReLeaf Project cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy any information, data, wording or graphics on the website and the Material is not provided for any specific or general purpose. The Project is not liable for any errors or omissions in the Material. Any third party to who any such Material is passed should be made aware of this. No reliance should be placed on the Material by the user without specialist advice.
Opinions, views, information, and other materials on the Urban ReLeaf Website represent the views of the author or authors and not those of the granting bodies, the European Commission and UKRI InnovateUK.
By accessing, browsing, or using the Urban ReLeaf Website, Users acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use and applicable laws and regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In line with the GDPR, Urban ReLeaf only use servers that are internal or located in Europe and that comply with the regulations in force in the European Union since 25 May 2018.

Privacy Policy
Urban ReLeaf complies with the General Data Protection Regulation and Privacy legislation
This policy outlines the processing of Personal Data, such as name, identification number, location data, etc., when using the Urban ReLeaf Website. Personal Data on the Urban ReLeaf Website is processed in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data collection responsibility: Data collected on the Urban ReLeaf Website is processed by UNIVDUN, the host of the Urban ReLeaf Website, and IIASA, the Urban ReLeaf Project coordinator. Contact details can be found in the Terms of Use.
Data collection and purposes:
When Users visit the Urban ReLeaf Website, it collects and processes and temporarily stores some data that may be considered Personal Data (e.g., IP address). When using the website, the IP address of the visitor is stored temporarily and used for consultation statistics. The Urban ReLeaf Project uses cookies relevant to Google Analytics. Personal Data is also collected when Users contact the Urban ReLeaf Project via the contact form, newsletter sign up or email. This includes the name and email address and country of the User. Subscribing to the Urban ReLeaf Project’s newsletter requires providing the name and email address for newsletter delivery. Collecting, using, and storing this information to send newsletters and related information about the project is considered a legitimate interest under GDPR. Urban ReLeaf keeps data (name, surname, etc.) for research purposes. It always obtains consent before using a person’s data and will keep it for 3 years beyond the end of the project.
Personal Data may also be used for statistical analysis and the functioning of the Urban ReLeaf Website. The Urban ReLeaf Project may retain communications received from Users via the contact forms or email to process inquiries, respond to requests, and improve the Urban ReLeaf Website or provide assistance related to project services.
Contact information will only be used for communication purposes unless Users express their preference not to receive further communications. The Urban ReLeaf Project does not collect special categories of Personal Data according to Art. 9 (1) GDPR, such as information regarding political views, race, religious beliefs, or health.
Analytics, third-party tools, and links: The Urban ReLeaf Project employs various companies to analyse website usage and optimize user experience, including Google Analytics, stat.g.doubleclick.net, pbs.twimg.com, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
